Saxman Dayna Stephens isn't avant enough to be avant-gutbucket.  He's just In The Tradition — but fresh!  You cannot listen to him without being intellectually stimulated, while having a very good time.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Brown (after the University):  pour 2 oz. Bourbon and 1 oz. dry Vermouth, with 2 dashes of orange bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
