Eliza Bent's best work yet (and that's saying something).  I love the way she saves the most surgical skewering for Our Side.  Funny and deceptively deep.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Suburban:  pour 1 oz. Rye and 3/4 oz. each of dark Rum and Ruby Port, with 1 dash each of Angostura bitters and orange bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into an Old Fashioned glass.
