A new iteration of a piece about how we experience grief and confront death.  I love art that takes you outside yourself.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Bitter Mai Tai:  pour 1 oz. each of Smith & Cross Navy Strength Rum, Campari, and lime juice, and 1/2 oz. each of Curaçao and Orgeat, into a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ice.  Dry shake.  Pour into a mug 2/3 filled with crushed ice.  Add more crushed ice to top.  Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig.
