Cassie Wieland is a compulsively listenable composer, perhaps more interested in texture than structure — but none the worse for that. Tonight is the Pandemic-delayed premiere of a new solo piece Wieland wrote for no less a pianist than Vicky Chow. It will be supplemented by a bunch of solo pieces for a gaggle of other instruments.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Leap Year: pour 2 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. each of sweet Vermouth and Grand Marnier, and 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
