The first anniversary of the first performance of this music/dance band (not an auspicious first year — but they didn't know what was coming). They improvise, they do New Music by people we all like, they move around.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Keyes: pour 2 oz. Bourbon, 3/4 oz. Cynar, and 1/2 oz lemon juice and Demerara Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
