I am actually not familiar with vocalist Sachal Vasandini. But anyone who has a backup band comprising Dayna Stephens, Taylor Eigsti, Dezron Douglas, and Kendrick Scott has got to be worth a listen.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Those listening at home can blot out their consciousness with a Professional: pour 1-1/2 oz. Bourbon, 1/2 oz. overproof Rum (Jamaican by preference), and 1 oz. Campari into an Old Fashioned glass over ice. Stir. Garnish with an orange twist. Those who snag a seat at the venue can go down the block to The NoMad.
