Ashley Bathgate is one stylish and adventerous cellist.  And if she does this set in her childhood bedroom, as she did for the Bang On A Can Marathon a couple of weeks ago, you won't believe how nice it is.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  I love Daisy cocktails.  Here's a particularly nice one (for a particularly nice recital), the May Daisy:  pour 2 oz. Cognac, 3/4 oz. Green Chartreuse, 1 oz. lemon juice, and 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled wine glass.  Garnish with a mint sprig.  Lovely.
