Pianist/composer Vijay Iyer is one of the best people in music, any genre (not that the concept of genre even applies to what he does).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Oaxacanite:  pour 1 oz. each of Blanco Tequila and Mezcal, and 3/4 oz. each of lime juice and Honey Syrup (we made some Monday!), with 3 dashes of Angostura bitters and a grapefruit twist (yes, not a garnish), into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Hard.  Strain into an ice-filled Martini glass or coupe.
