Two from the Bay Area, one from Verona.  Presented by — and featuring — Pamela Z, one of the most interesting, entertaining, and charismatic performers in Alt Classical.  Also, Donald Swearingen, who I hope won't get upset when I call his electronic music delightful (it really is!).  And another challenging but immensely engrossing electronic composer/performer, Zeno Baldi.  A great show!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  It was in Verona that I first learned that there was such a thing as good, non-rotgut Grappa.  So let's mix some into a Giannola 38:  pour 1/2 oz. each of Grappa, Fino Sherry, lime juice, and Simple Syrup, with 1 teaspoon of Green Chartreuse, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a rocks glass over ice.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
