Shelton Whimsy was a neo-vaudevillian in happier times; now that there are no live performances he's become a video artist.  In this performance piece, he holds a tea party where he tells of love, loss, and poetry set against the backdrop of Florence last Summer (when, believe it or not, you could still go there).  Expect special guest appearances.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  If we're going to think of being in Florence, we're obviously going to be drinking Negronis while doing so.  But this week, let's try a White Negroni:  pour 2 oz. Gin, 1 oz. Lilet Blanc (or my new fave, Kina l'Aéro d'Or), and 3/4 oz. Suze (face up:  you've GOT to get some) into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Old Fashioned glass.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
