A teenaged girl escapes from reform school and becomes the greatest singer in the world:  a true story.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Ella deserves nothing less than a Tuxedo cocktail:  pour 2 oz. Gin, 1 oz. Fino Sherry, and 1 dash of orange bitters into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
