Wow.  A new piece by Ashley Fure in which the audience participates in the music making, using mason jars or large glasses under the direction of the composer.  A new piece by Suzanne Farrin, featuring the composer on the eerie ondes Martenot.  And then Farrin plays some Messiaen on that, his pet instrument.  The concert will be live-streamed on YouTube, followed by a chat with the audience on Zoom.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  One more glass to use, beside the ones in Ashley Fure's piece.  Let's fill it with a My Fair Lady:  pour 1-1/2 oz. Geneever, 1 oz. dry Vermouth, 1/2 oz. Amaro (CioCiaro by preference), 1 teaspoon Maraschino liqueur, and 3 dashes of orange bitters into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with an orange twist.
