No one ever writes about William Electric Black without noting that he started out writing for Sesame Street. The plays that he presents under this guise are a good deal angrier. Here's a reading of two of them. Expect to feel like you've been punched in the gut.
MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: 100-Year-Old Cigar: rinse a chilled Martini glass or coupe with Absinthe. Pour 1-3/4 oz. dark aged Rum, 1/4 oz. peaty Scotch (like Laphroaig), and 3/4 oz. each of Cynar and Bénédictine, with 1 dash of Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into the rinsed glass.
