Poet/philosopher/musician Rachelle Rahmé takes on nihilism.  Or does she celebrate it?

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Tremblement de Terre, a favorite of Toulouse-Lautrec himself:  pour 2-1/2 oz. Cognac and 1-1/2 teaspoons of Absinthe into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with a lemon twist.  You will feel the earth move.
