This List is always good for a good word for Afro-Cuban Jazz, and pianist/composer Dayramir Gonzalez is a real comer.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  The great Cuban cocktail that you might not know, El Presidente:  pour 1-1/2 oz. each of white Rum and Vermouth Blanc, 1 teaspoon of Curaçao, and 1/2 teaspoon of Grenadine into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Squeeze an orange twist into the drink and use as a garnish, along with a cocktail cherry.
