The peerless International Contemporary Ensemble plays the kind of composers they champion and this List loves.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  I spent the evening at Kenta Goto's great new (well it first opened mid-February — but we all know how long THAT initial stand lasted) Brooklyn outpost of Bar Goto.  So if this email seems more disjointed (or just more pissed off) than usual, you know why (if it doesn't, that's telling, too).  So let's all enjoy together Kenta's most famous creation, the Sakura Martini:  pour 2-1/2 oz. Sake, 1 oz. Gin, and 1/4 teaspoon of Maraschino liqueur into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Stir.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  If you happen to have a cherry blossom lying around, salt it and use as a garnish.
