Ex-Cunningham dancer Brandon Collwes and Downtown experimental music mainstay John King continue their interdisciplinary collaboration with each other and a changing galaxy of guest artists.  This week features passages from a King micro-opera built around Anne Carson's recitations of Sappho, with musical assists from artists including List fave Lester St. Louis and List über-fave Gelsey Bell.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Let's stick with a White Negroni (after all, it's Negroni Week) before Summer totally ends:  pour 1 oz. each of Gin, Suze, and Lillet Blanc (or even better, Kina L'Aero d'Or) into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.  Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
