Tonight TENET presents songs from the dawn of the Italian Baroque.  You decide whether they're pretty or beautiful.  (They're certainly emotive.)

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  They were drinking the precursor of the Sgroppino in Venice in the 16th Century, before this Baroque stuff was even dreamed of:  put 1/3 cup lemon sorbet and a splash of Prosecco into a stainless steel bowl.  Whisk until incorporated.  While whisking, pour in 1 oz. Vodka and 3 oz. Prosecco.  Pour the whole thing into a chilled Martini glass or coupe (or maybe a Champagne flute).
