A showcase for vocalist Amirtha Kidambi, one of the most purely interesting musicians on the New York experimental scene.  Her music has elements of Carnatic, jazz, contemporary classical, and various forms of pop.   But it isn't eclectic — it's organic.  Tonight she plays with her band Elder Ones and in combination(s) with electronic soundscaper Lea Bertucci and avant-jazz bassist Luke Stewart.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Fog Cutter:  1-1/2 oz. white Rum, 1/2 oz. each of Gin,  Brandy, and Orgeat, 2 oz. orange juice, and 1 oz. lemon juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into an ice-filled Highball glass.  Float 1/2 oz. Amontillado Sherry on top.  Garnish with a mint sprig.
