Pieces from the back of beyond.  The front of beyond, too.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  Northside Special:  pour 2 oz. dark Rum (preferably Gosling's Black Seal), 1-1/2 oz. orange juice, and 1/2 oz. each of lemon juice and Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a Highball glass over ice.  Top with club soda.  Garnish with an orange slice.
