Political and cultural critique — and a whodunnit — in the guise of a Zoomed Persian cooking class.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Persian Joon: pour 1-1/2 oz. Pistachio liqueur, 1 oz. Amaretto, and 1/2 oz. Maraschino liqueur into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Add 1/2 oz. cream. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
