The excerpt I saw last year of this extrapolation from the Christian Passions that Spanish conquerors forced the Filipino population to enact, whose text then inspired Filipinos to revolt against foreign rule, makes me eager to experience the full work. It was atmospheric and suggestive in the extreme.
