I don't know how many of these Standard Rep-plus-Caroline Shaw recitals I can keep in good conscience recommending. But Blueprint is such a good piece. And really, Haydn (the "Emperor": hum along to "Deutschland Über Alles"!) and Shostakovich aren't so bad.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Il Sorpasso: pour 1 oz. each of Bourbon and Aperol, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and 3/4 teaspoon of honey, with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a rocks glass or tumbler over ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with an orange slice.
