Carsie Blanton does the kind of catchy '20s/'30s throwback jazz-pop that I might enjoy listening to, but doesn't fit on this List. She's getting Listed nonetheless, because she's written a quatrain that encapsulates not only my own personal love life, but my entire personal social life: "We tried to chat/But it was too scary/You're just a Democrat/I'm a revolutionary."
