I think of Brian O'Doherty as a critic. Arts administrators probably think of him as an arts administrator. And then there are his novels. But he also did influential performance pieces (very language-focused [even if it's negation], as befits an Irish writer). A star-studded bunch of performers (star-studded here, anyway) give new life to some of his early pieces, from the late '60s/early '70s.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: It would be so easy to recommend a place right near The Kitchen if only Cookshop were good.
