Violinist Jennifer Koh plays the standard rep as probingly as she plays new music. This is part of one of her projects where she mixes pieces by some standard-rep composer-god with contemporary pieces written in response. In this case, with pianist Thomas Sauer, she plays the three violin sonatas in Beethoven's Op. 30, with new responsive pieces by Daniel Bernard Roumain and Deanna Rusnock.
