Let's get this out of the way at the outset: Fay Victor is just a fabulous singer, inventive and fearless, but rooted. This is her "avant-garde dance music" band, and let me tell you, they are FANTASTIC.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Act of Faith (not for the faint of heart) (but then neither is SoundNoiseFUNK): pour 1-1/2 oz. Jamaican Rum (try to make it funky, like The Funk), 1/2 oz. each of Blackstrap Rum and Pedro Ximenez Sherry, and a whopping 1/4 oz. Angostura bitters into a rocks glass over ice. Stir. Garnish with an orange twist.
