To be clear, this is in fact a piano recital and not a video of Kathleen Supové getting her hair done. Supové is, of course, an excellent and extremely exciting pianist. But perhaps more to the point, her taste is probing enough that you can assume that whatever new pieces dealing with the emotional vicissitudes of Quarantine she has chosen will be worth hearing. (Among the featured composers are List faves inti figgis-vizueta and Nicole Lizée!)

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In honor of Nicole Lizée, La Canadiense: pour 2 oz. Canadian Whiskey, 1 oz. Joven Tequila, and 1/2 oz. Maple Syrup, with 1 dash each of apple bitters and old-fashioned bitters, into a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ice. Add the peel of 1/2 of an orange. Muddle. Pour into double Old Fashioned glass over ice.
