MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: A Dorflinger (named no doubt for the famous cut-glass manufacturer) will cloud your mind: pour 2 oz. Gin (Plymouth by preference) (I'd like to try Monkey 47 in this, actually) and 1 oz. Absinthe into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Add 1 dash or 2 of orange bitters.
