South American experimental music powerhouse TVL Rec teams with its Buenos Aires colleagues from the new music venue Ruido for a night of new sounds from South America.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: We've already done a Fernet & Coke this week, so let's go back in time for a classic BA cocktail from the early '50s, the Clarito: rim a chilled Martini glass or coupe with sugar. Pour 2-1/4 oz. Gin and 1/2 oz. dry Vermouth into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Express 3 lemon twists into the liquid. Stir. Strain into the rimmed glass. Garnish with another lemon twist. (I love just about everything from BA [well, politics excluded]— but I really love this cocktail.)
