Various pieces for solo piano (and chanting!) and occasionally flute highlighting stories of immigrants (it's Immigrant Night tonight). Look for a solo transcription of Philip Glass's piano quintet Annunciation.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: George Kappeler's Calisaya: pour 2 oz. Rye and 1 oz. Chinato (or Calisaya if you can find it) (which you can't), with 1 dash of Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
