Biophilia Records, with its genre-denying fresh eclectic spacey-as-they-wanna-be lineup, has proven to be a boon companion during Quarantine. Just picking out a few faves in this first weekend of their Festival, I'll note the cool Portuguese-born art-jazz singer/composer Sara Serpa on Thursday, and the marvelous saxophonist María Grand on Friday.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Lavender Margarita: pour 2-1/2 oz. Silver Tequila, 1/2 oz. each Cointreau and Crème de Violette, and 1/4 oz. each lime juice and Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lime twist and a flower if you have one.
