Even while expanding her style, the late Trisha Brown stayed close to her Post-Modern Judson roots, keeping the quotidian in the midst of larger and larger canvases. This show focuses (not exclusively) on Brown's work from the turn of the '80s, before she really started going large-scale.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Contessa: pour 1 oz. each of Gin, dry Vermouth, and Aperol into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Old Fashioned glass. Express a lemon twist into the drink and discard the rind.
