The great, venerable Downtown music-theater company The Talking Band presents a singspiel about six residents of a disused Catskills farmhouse that's been transformed into a safe haven for Vulnerable Expendables (such as, for example, authors of performing arts newsletters).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Tango No. 2: pour 3/4 oz. each of white Rum, Bénédictine, dry Vemouth, sweet Vermouth, and orange juice, with 1 dash of orange bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
