Downtown harp goddess Zeena Parkins plays, with various interesting accompanists, two new pieces — including one inspired by the work of visual artist Jay "The Rose" DeFeo.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: I'm going to once again admit to liking Grasshoppers — no matter how silly and unserious that makes me seem (I'm also proud to love Joyva Ring Jells: so THERE): pour 1 oz. each of Crème de Cacao and green Crème de Menthe, and 2-1/2 oz. half and half, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a mint leaf. And just tell me that isn't delicious.
