Trumpeter Amir ElSaffar's fusion of jazz and Iraqi classical is spellbinding. (He'll also have a brass fanfare performed in The Glade at 6:30 and 8:30 PM.) Too bad Little Island (and its performance venues) are like Septime: it's theoretically there, but you can't expect to get in.
