The PUBLIQuartet has been touring in support of its excellent Freedom and Faith album for a while now (with an obvious interruption), and all I can say is that it's a very good album and they're a very good quartet. The album features pieces by female composers or associated with female performers from both the classical (mainly Early Music or contemporary classical) and vernacular traditions, and so does this show (inaugurating PUBLIQuartet Week here on The List) — which promises to be excellent.
