MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: I myself am currently quite taken with the Commando: pour 1-1/2 oz. Bourbon, 3/4 oz. each of Cointreau and lime juice, 1/4 oz. Simple Syrup, and 1/8 (or 1/4 if you feel like living dangerously) teaspoon Absinthe into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
