Composer-pianist Aaron Parks brings on his smart, allusive style of jazz (among the styles he draws on is Indie Rock — an influence that seemed Of The Moment when he started out and now seems Charmingly Period). In case you’re wondering, among the players in his quartet is the sensational trumpeter Adam O’Farrill.
