The focal point of this program is a Jonathan Berger piece about My Lai featuring Vietnamese instruments played by Vân-Áhn Vanessa Võ and vocals by the sublime Rinde Eckert. But some of us are even more excited about new pieces by inti figgis-vizueta and Alexandra Vrebalov, and another Vietnam piece (perhaps classical music’s greatests), one of Kronos’s greatest hits, the quartet’s cover of George Crumb’s Black Angels.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Not only are Vida Verde’s tacos surprising plausible for Midtown, but it should be open even after this concert.
