If the (excellent) clarinetist Michael Winograd is the star and motive force of this nightlong Klezmer extravaganza, the fact remains that opener Alicia Svigals, fiddling tonight along with tsimbl (that’s cimbalon to you) master Pete Rushefsky, is (I never tire of saying this) one of the great musicians in the world. Jenny Luna’s old Sephardic songs also appeal.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, a perfect chance before the show to vie for the weekend barbacoa and tamales at Reyes Deli & Grocery. Streaming at home, have a Brooklyn: pour 2 oz. Rye, 1 oz. dry Vermouth, and 1/4 oz. each of Maraschino liqueur and Golden Moon Amer dit Picon (or Bigalet China-China or CioCiaro) into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
