A trans love story set against the background of climate crisis (as things tend to be these days) — all inspired by John Lyly’s 1585 comedy about two women dressed as men who fall in love with each other, each believing the other to be a man.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Normally I’d tell you to walk over to the delightful neo-Red Sauce Cafe Spaghetti — but given current circumstances, it might be hard to get in (although to tell you the truth, I’ve never had the slightest bit of trouble walking into the bar). So maybe stop for the always interesting (and tasty!) Italian/Southern U.S. mash-up at Popina.
