Guitar genius Gary Lucas plays soundtrack music (composed and improvised) for short films about the female body by three women filmmakers. And not just any three: Shirley Clarke, Maya Deren, and Barbara Rubin! Alison Clancy dances to and around the films.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, superb Palestinian at AlBadawi. Streaming at home, have a Manhattan Skyscraper: rim an ice-filled Highball glass with an orange peel. Pour in 1-1/2 oz. Bourbon and 1/2 oz. sweet Vermouth. Stir. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with an orange twist and a cocktail cherry on a skewer.
