Peretsky goes all mellow electroacoustic on his new piano w/vocals album, but it isn’t just noodling. My only complaint is that it sounds more like a Summer record than a Fall one. KING VISION ULTRA, coming from Hip-Hop and Metal and making music that sounds like nothing but himself, is one of the crucial musicians in New York. Yatta you will just love: Sierra Leone-rooted jazz-inflected Nu R&B sung with a gorgeous alto voice.
