Ensemble Decipher specializes in playing tech-assisted music, using electronics and vintage technology. Tonight there’s a world premiere of a piece by Bora Yoon employing a giant electronic version of the cat’s cradle string game. There are also pieces by Erin Rogers and Lynn Goeringer, including one they wrote jointly to be set as a dance by the Iranian choreographer Hiva Sedaghat, who will perform it. Good thing Niloufar Nourbakhsh will be in the house as part of the ensemble.
