I’m not Listing the adaptation of Israel in Egypt that Apollo’s Fire is doing with the Philharmonic on the main program; Handel on modern instruments is not what This List enjoys (it doesn’t enjoy adaptations, either — but nobody does the baggy Israel in Egypt straight). What this List does enjoy is Baroque on period instruments, as here — and Apollo’s Fire doesn’t limit itself to Europe, either.
