Boris Charmatz (now the Artistic Director of Pina Bausch’s Tanztheater Wuppertal) usually does big group pieces. But this is a solo. It explores somnolence — one hopes his, not the audience’s.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Go to Knickerbocker Bar & Grill. Have a Martini, then have a Caviar Pie, and after that stick with the steak if you know what’s good for you.
