The percussion-percussion-piano Pathos Trio presents a program that goes somewhere. Among other things, there’s a piece by Alyssa Weinberg, who writes colorful soundscapes. But there are also pieces by the Trio’s pianist, Will Healy, whose compositions are, to put it mildly, lively. And pieces by percussionists: Clara Warnaar, who plays everywhere; and Ian Chang, who drums with Son Lux!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: It seems unlikely, but a (very) knowledgeable friend tells me that Chez Zou is actually a good cocktail bar.
