A split week, Wednesday and Thursday seeing the great AACM flautist Nicole Mitchell duetting with, respectively, Fay Victor on voice and Craig Taborn on piano. Then, Friday and Saturday, two nights of the truly exciting trombonist Kalia Vandever, one of the freshest musicians in jazz, duetting with vibesmaster Joel Ross the first night and playing with her great band tilt (also featuring Isabel Crespo Pardo on voice and Carmen Rothwell on bass) the second.
