Philadelphia’s Night Music ensemble gets up early to play chamber music by Telemann, his godson C.P.E. Bach, and Emanuel Bach’s galant contemporary Janitsch.
MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, I’m not gonna even tell you what El Mil Sabores puts on their Torta Loca sandwich. You have to see it for yourself. Streaming at home, the classic Philadelphia cocktail is a Clover Club, but there’s NOW WAY I’m gonna tell you to make something that needs raspberry syrup. So have a Campden: pour 2 oz. Gin and 1/3 oz. each Cointreau and Kina l’Aéro d’Or into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
